Hi there website viewer! My name is Stewart and I have been an accountant for 13 years, working in large businesses and in several varying roles. I have now decided to start using my skills and qualifications to help small businesses, the self-employed and anyone who needs some accounting help whether it be for property rental, stocks and shares, capital gains or any other reason. I have been a member of CIMA (an ACMA) since 2010 and I am now one of their members in practice (MiP). The CIMA qualification is focused on management accounting - reporting internally to the managers of a business. Whilst I do have some experience in financial reporting - which is effectively reporting externally, to HMRC, Companies House and shareholders - I have decided to study the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) qualification to help me offer a better service to my clients.
